ABOUT
Born in a rural Rhode Island beach town, I experienced the joy of the outdoors at a young age in my family’s summer vegetable garden and running along the ocean.
In 2015 I graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Public Communication and Nutrition - focusing my studies on community development through the food system. My passion lies in bringing the community together through good food, encouraging entrepreneurship, and providing children the opportunity and skill set to become positive change makers in their own communities.
While living in Vermont, I was active in the local craft food scene through
helping to plan annual food-centered community events and working as a barista in a bustling gallery for local artists.
I moved to a suburb of Atlanta in 2016 to serve with FoodCorps in order
pursue my interests in youth empowerment, nature based learning, and nutrition education.
You can find me appreciating the warm seasons by biking, hiking, kayaking, or swimming at one of the many beautiful GA state parks.
